The appartement is situated directly at Mariannenplatz, opposite the famous Artist House and former 19th century hospital. Our area SO36 ( named after the pld postal code) is part of famous Berlin district Kreuzberg. In walking distance you find Markthalle 9, the Berlin hot spot for all foodies ( Foodlovers), the Werkbundarchiv and Galerie König, Berlin most renown and most ambitious gallery. also in walking distance: the Berghain, East Side Gallery and dozens of bars, cafes and restaurants. With S-Bahn Ostbahnhof just a short stroll across the Spree, there is easy quick travelling through whole Berlin. Funny enough, the wall could have been spotted from our balcony, it was only 100 meters away, luckily its fallen.
