Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort
Cool 180sqm-Mezzanine near a nice square (with children's playground), a stone throw away from Mauerpark, Kastanienallee etc. Its a sunny, modern apartment with a nice view (TV-Tower included) on top of an old building. Two balconies in different directions, lift to 4th floor. Cabrio window at the dining area, which is like a third balcony....
Spacious kitchen/living room with WC at 5th-floor, four rooms and two bathrooms at 4th floor: 1 Master bedroom with bathroom, 1 children's room with double bunk bed, 1 childrens room without bed, 1 guest room with a sofa bed for two persons.
If you like table tennis, we have all you need (board and rackets) in the guest room. We are a family of four, so you will find plenty of toys.
You won't need a car, as we live in central Berlin (Mitte), you can walk within minutes to supermarkets, nightclubs and a bunch of restaurants. Or you take a bike, Tram or subway nearby. But don't worry - its calm in the night!

Beskrivning av vårt grannskap och omgivning
We live in one of the nice old quarters in central Berlin, at the border to Prenzlauer Berg. A lot of families live here, on Arkonaplatz (50m) is a playground, on Fridays you'll have a little food market and on Sundays a flea market. It's quiet and nice living here, although it is just a few minutes walk to fancy Kastanienallee - with a lot of shops and restaurants - and Mauerpark - with a lot of musicians and a bigger flea market on Sundays. Alexanderplatz is just 3 subway-stops away, to Hauptbahnhof you go in 10 mn by Tram, Hackescher Markt and Museumsinsel is 3 stops by Tram.
Supermarkets, organic supermarkets, a bunch of Spätis (shops where you can buy drinks and sweets even late in the night) and bakeries nearby.

Våra tips om platser att gå och saker att göra när du bor i vårt hem
Sightseeing hotspots are nearby: within 3 minutes, you'll reach the old East/West-Borderline - walk along this open air museum with a lot of installations until you'll reach some of the few remains of the Wall in Berlin. The Mauer Gedenkstätte is about 15 minutes by foot. You'll reach Hackescher Markt, Museumsinsel, Alexanderplatz in 2-3 stations by Tram or subway.
Try to test all restaurants and cafes along Oderberger Straße and Kastanienallee - I guess you won't make it :-). You'll find food from any continent, vegan and vegetarian.
And on Sundays, you should stroll through Mauerpark and listen to the famous Karaoke show in the Amphitheatre, street musicians and street poets...

We have some nice plants on the balconies, and Berlin summers can be very dry - so please water them while you are there.
Please retract the sunshed of the Cabrio window at the dining area when leaving the appartment, and don't use it if its to windy - its really expensive to repair....
In the kitchen, we have a traditional Espresso machine (with sieve holder and an extra coffee grinder). It is a little bit complicated to handle it. If you dont know machines like that, we can install for you a Nespresso machine.
Please always lock the door when you leave the appartment and at nights from inside (we always leave a key in the door from inside to come out quickly in case of emergency). Housebreakers are brazenly in Berlin, they even come in when you're sleeping.
It is important for us to find our house nice and clean when we come back...we can arrange for you a date with a cleaner (45€ for 3 hrs).
And please don't wear outdoor shoes within the apartment: Berlin streets can be dirty, people here have a lot of dogs...
