We are a happy German-Egyptian familiy and we love music. Adam and Dunja are singing and Ahmed is a professional saxophonist. We like travelling and discovering the world. Dunja - Born 1996 - is a student of teaching post for French and politics and she has already moved to a student flatshare but still travels with us. Mona is working as an administrator in a pharmaceutical company. She likes to spend her free time in the garden. We have a webshop for oriental dance and the store is integrated in our apartment. Adam is attending the secondary school and he his hobby is sailing. We all love cooking and eating! Our cat Amadeus spends a lot of time outside but needs your care while you are in our home.

The building we live in was constructed by the French for the officers and their families during the occupation of Berlin. So it is situated in the North of Berlin, in the former "French sector". We live in an apartment (150 m2), ground floor. Our apartment is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and has a balcony. Each of the 3 bedrooms offers 2 sleeping accommodations. There is a bathroom with bath tube and toilet and there is an extra toilet. From the living room, there is the access to the garden. The next underground station is 8 minutes walking distance.

The building we live in was built from the French for the officers and their families during the occupation time of Berlin. The north of Berlin was occupied by the French. Our neighbourhood is a beautiful green area, where your children can play outside safely. There is a sea (Flughafensee) in 10 minutes walking distance and a wood. The Tegeler See with boats and a nice promenade is 3 underground stations away. Distance from home to next underground station is 8 minutes by foot. 20 minutes to city center east (Alexanderplatz) or 30 minutes to city center west (Kurfuerstendamm). We have friendly and helpful neighbours, families as well as flat shares of all ages and nationalities. The access to the goverment airport is part of our neighbourhood.

We have more than 40 beautifully illuminated Christmas markets in winter, Besides, the proximity to Poland and the Czech Republic is a big advantage.
