In the description of the home and place they wrote: “you’ll not be disappointed” And we actually loved it. Walking distance to everything. Especially the charming old town but also the splendid lake and mountains. Perfect for hiking trips.

Dear Doris, Kurt and Anna, Thanks again a lot for this wonderful exchange this Summer 2020 ! We loved our beautiful and spacious apartement, the shared garden with all kid games, the proximity to the lovely city center, even more with your bikes ! The morning in mountains (Pilatus, Bürgenstock...) and the afternoon in the Lake Lucerne (in Lucerne of course but even in Weggis, Brunnen...) and in the Reuss river ! What more could we ask for? Very cosy and beautiful apartment with a grat view. Very near the center. Friendly neighbors. All was perfect!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Doris, Kurt und Anna. In der superschönen und sauberen Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nachbarn im Haus waren unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereich. In wenigen Minuten ist man in der Altstadt und am See.

Un grand merci à Doris et sa famille pour cet échange. L'appartement est très bien situé avec une jolie vue et un balcon qui permet de prendre les repas dehors tout en étant bien abrité du soleil ou pluie ! Lucerne est une ville magnifique : lac, montagnes, hauts sommets, musées, de quoi bien se divertir (nous avons bien marché, grimpé et pédalé !). Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre échange !

We had a very pleasant stay in the appartment of Doris, Kurt and Anna in Lucerne. The appartment was perfectly situated close to the city center with a great view on the nearby mountains and the former fortress. Lucerne was for us the perfect place for the new year's eve with nice hotel bars and astonishing fireworks on the 1st of january. The appartment itself was very clean, perfectly equipped and with very nice and tasteful decoration. A big thank you to Doris, Kurt and Anna for that very nice and inspiring exchange

Everything was perfect: the apartment is nice and comfortable. Short walk from Lucerne town. Lucerne was a very pleasant surprise for us. Great citytrip destination if you are looking for a smaller, clean, comfortable town. And child friendly. Thanks to Doris, Anna and Kurt!

Our home exchange with Doris and your family gets 6 out of 5 stars ;). We swapped for the first time and it could not have been better. We had a very nice family as exchange partners with very nice neighbors in a beautiful apartment in Luzern a city which offers everything you could wish for a vacation. Culture, music, restaurants, beaches, mountains and then everything on your doorstep! We turned on our car, except of laziness, one time (+ one time to go home;)) otherwise everything by foot and by bike. Future exchange partners can already look forward to a great exchange.
