Leslie and Steve are wonderful hosts! The home was cozy and we instantly felt right at home. The entry instructions were clear and easily followed upon arrival. Closing up was equally straightforward. We would exchange with Leslie and Steve any time and will likely again if they’ll have us!

nd not as crowded as other popular vacation spots. We had many lovely day trips from this location.

The house is situated at the edge of Huelgoat, a small town with all the amenities in the centre of Brittany. We visited off season, the weather was a bit chilly, small radiators in the house warmed it up quickly (no need to use the woodstove that is also available). We enjoyed to discover this (for us) unknown part of France. We did longer daytrips twice, visiting the coast and Brest. Closer by are also interesting towns, castles, an abbey, ecomusee… You do need a car to get around. Steve and Lesley are very generous hosts, communication was quick and easy. Thanks again for a great and relaxing stay.

Dear Lesley and Steve, The place is lovely, both the house and Huelgoat. We really felt like at home (beautiful, easy, confortable, full of light, quiet...), and the location of the house at the center of Brittany while at the woods is just perfect. Hope to welcome you in Calella soon, as soon as Covid makes it possible.

Thanks Steve and Lesley for a great house swap. We all felt very at home at your house and the food you left for us was very welcome. The house was big and airy and the girls were able to have separate bedrooms which keeps everyone happy. We all enjoyed the hot tub.....a massive luxury! We made the most of the warm weather and visited Longleat safari park which was 5*. Bath was a great day trip, we visited the tourist sites and discovered the amazing play area in Victoria Park. Highly recommend an exchange with Steve and Lesley.
