We are friendly, young at heart couple whose family have all now flown the nest. I am a specialist SEN primary school teacher and Nick is retired. We recently made the move to Dorset to have a home near the sea which we could enjoy with family and friends. We enjoy golf, rowing walking and exploring new places. We have family in Sydney and have just returned from an extended stay there. We would very much like to return for a longer visit and would love to house swap if at all possible.

Our neighbourhood is quiet and friendly with plenty of additional parking. A 10 minute walk down the hill into Swanage with its beautiful beaches, cafes and shops, including bakeries, butchers and fish mongers.
A 2 minute walk from our front door takes you to the top of the Downs with stunning sea views of Durlston Castle and Peveril Point.
From the town centre you can get the open top bus into Bournemouth via the chain ferry at Sandbanks,. The bus will also take you to the pretty village of Studland with its 3 National Trust beaches.

Swanage sits on the Isle of Purbeck, gateway to the ancient Jurassic Coast a seaside town on the popular Southwest coastal path. It is a bustling, busy town with family friendly, sandy beaches, beautiful views and stunning scenery. Swanage has a good choice of cafes and restaurants serving local produce and fresh fish.
It can be reached by chain ferry from Bournemouth or from Wareham and is 2 hours by road from the Devon Cathedral City of Exeter.
London Waterloo is only 2 hours away by train from Wareham (10 miles from Swanage)
Swanage has it's own historic steam railway to Corfe Castle and is home to Durlston Castle, where you can enjoy a coffee with panoramic views at the cafe, nature walks and coastal walks.
