We live in a quiet village just outside historic Melrose which is one of the most desirable locations in the Scottish Borders. There is easy access to the countryside and beautiful walks and cycle routes. We are a 5 minute drive to the local train to Edinburgh city centre 50 minutes away. There is free parking. There are lots of lovely hill and river walks. There are 3 outstanding beaches within 1 to 2 hours by car.
