We loved it but you must remember you are on a working farm. John came most days and showed us around the property, so could answer any questions we had. They stayed at their beach place while we were in the house. Explored the surrounding small places and also some of the wineries in the Hawkes Bay Area. The quiet and solitude were very special. We do not often get a chance to be so far away from any other habitations! Bev and John were very welcoming and friendly. Great memories for us!!
