Period Villa built in the Art Deco Era of the 1930s and features a rustic combination of Native NZ timbers. (Heart rimu, totora, kauri and matai).
The house, nestled in very private gardens, is situated in a small town (16 km from New Plymouth) which has all the usual stores and amenities (Library, Pharmacy, News Agent, Bakery, Banks, Post Office & Restaurants) - all located within 2 min walk from the front gate.
The Villa consists of:
3 bed rooms which can be configured to sleep up to 6 people.
2 Bathroom & Separate Laundry.
Open kitchen/family Room which includes Satellite TV / DVD / APPLE TV.
Music room which features a pianola with an extensive pianola roll collection / antique Cornish pump organ (workable), sheet music to play, CD's & a library of books.
Large conservatory which includes office.

New Plymouth is the major city of the Taranaki region, situated on the west coast of the North Island half way between Auckland and Wellington New Zealand.
Renowned for its conical shaped Mountain Mount Taranaki, Taranaki has an abundance of rivers, sea, surf beaches and bush walks; all the attractions for which New Zealand is famous. The close proximity to both sea and mountain, means visitors could climb to the summit or surf and ski on the same day!
The mountain provides excellent climbing, skiing, tramping and photography and is the source of over 50 rivers and streams.
This province, due to its rich volcanic soil, boosts some of New Zealand's best public and private gardens. Many of these can be visited for free.

Pukeiti Gardens is one of the biggest rhododendron collections in the Southern Hemisphere uniquely nestled in rainforest which holds over 2000 varieties of rhododendrons.
Pukekura Park is a Garden of National Significance, covering 52ha near the heart of New Plymouth. The park contains a diverse range of native and exotic plants. Various easy walking trails cross the park and meander along the lake sides and the beautiful amphitheatre.
