Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort
INTERESTED IN EXCHANGE TO New Zealand. We are also open to local exchanges. We are flexible as to when we can welcome exchangers to either our Toronto or Muskoka home.
Welcome to 18 Abinger Crescent located in the "west end" of Toronto. The house is a single storey with 6 principal rooms on the main floor. The lower level was completely renovated in 2014 and features a bedroom, bathroom and large family room with fireplace. We have an enclosed garden with patio and B.B.Q. and ample parking in the drive/garage.

Beskrivning av vårt grannskap och omgivning
Our home is located in the west end of Toronto (Etobicoke) in a quiet, leafy, residential neighbourhood. Our neighbours are a mix of young, professional families and empty nesters. We are close to the city's main arteries and public transport to get around town. The heart of "Downtown" is 45 minutes by public transit. Major routes are nearby to "get out of town" to other Southern Ontario attractions. Yet, we are only a 15 minute drive from the airport. Essential stores (grocery/pharmacy) are close by with ready access to more extensive shopping.

Våra tips om platser att gå och saker att göra när du bor i vårt hem
Toronto is Canada's largest city and one of the most cosmopolitan centres in the world. Theatre, arts, music and sporting venues abound. Good restaurants reflective of our cultural mix are widespread, many close to our home. Biking and hiking trails through area parks and along rivers and the waterfront are readily accessible from the house. Getting "out of town" is easy - we're close to highways leading east, west and north. (15 minutes south to Lake Ontario!). To the west, Niagara Falls and the American border are 90 minutes away by car. Two hours north, and you're into Muskoka "cottage country", voted by National Geographic Traveller magazine in 2011 as a top travel destination. We are happy to prepare a list of attractions for exchangers based on their personal interests.
Vad vi gillar, vad vi inte gillar ... Här är våra preferenser och husregler.
Smoking is definitely not permitted. Although there are three bedrooms in the house, we have made two available for exchange…one on the main floor with a washroom adjacent, and one in the newly-renovated lower area with washroom. Please check our exchange preferences below. Outdoor plant care is minimal…occasional water in of a couple of pots. (Grass watering is automatic).
