A spacious multi-level house with extensive mature gardens and a wraparound deck. Our house contains a living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, family room, 3 bedrooms (1 used as a sewing room) and 2 1/2 baths, main floor laundry with access to a 2 car garage. We have a fully finished basement used as recreation space. The house is located in the “east end” of St. John’s within 5 minutes of all city amenities. The world renowned “George Street” in the down town area is only a 10 minute cab ride or drive away. There is an extensive network of walking and hiking trails within the city and these are readily accessible from our house. You could hike for days if one wished along the 300 km East Coast Trail (http://www.eastcoasttrail.ca/). The arts community is very vibrant with many performances put on throughout the year. There are numerous historic as well as world heritage sites in the area, and sea life abounds with whale watching, bird watching and iceberg watching being much enjoyed pastimes.
