Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort

Our home is perfect for a visit of the Ottawa area museums and discovering the Outaouais terroir or for trips to Eastern or central Canada and even the Maritime provinces. Situated directly in front of Gatineau Park with amazing views and access to ski in winter and hiking trails at other times. Quick two hour trip to Montreal and about 5 hours to Toronto. We prefer not to travel during the summer.

Notre maison est parfaite pour visiter la région d'Ottawa pour ses musées et maintes activités, et aussi la région de l'Outaouais du côté du Québec. Nous sommes en face du Parc de la Gatineau et ses sentiers pour les randonnées en été et le ski en hiver. Montréal est à 2 heures de route et Toronto environ 5 heures. Nous préférons ne pas voyager à l’été.

We live very near the city and its amenities, but our home is in the countryside on two acres of private land where neighbours are a bit further but friendly and helpful. The village is four kilometres away and Ottawa is 10 minutes away by car. There are many lakes around us for swimming, canoeing and kayaking and in the winter, a ski resort is 5 minutes away.

Chelsea is a small village with many restaurants and cafes and a number of take-out availabilities. In the fall, when the leaves are showing their splendid colours, the village is full of tourists walking the streets and hiking the trails of Gatineau Park. Ottawa, our nation's capital is 15 minutes away by car and full of museums and walkable areas to visit. The newly completed Light Rail Transit System makes it easy to travel around the city.
