Our home sits on a two acre lakeside property on Fraser Lake. We are on a private street with a few neighbours, all of which have become like family. The house is surrounded by large maple trees, which supply us with our very much appreciated yearly supply of maple syrup. The terrain is rugged and wild and so this property is not suitable for people with limited mobility. On the first floor of the house, there is a living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom with laundry, and a piano room. On the second floor, we have the main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and balcony, a large cedar post and beam solarium, and a second bedroom with single bed. On the third floor, there is a third bedroom with double bed, bathroom and shower. The basement floor boasts a living room with large stone fireplace, cork flooring, a bedroom with double bed, and a bathroom with shower. It is to be noted that we do not have a television (yes, we're that kind of people). However, we have high speed fiber optics and netflix that can be accessed with a computer. The back deck has a Weber barbecue and wraps around the entire back end of the house which looks over the lake below ( lake visible in three out of four seasons). There is a walking trail that leads to the lake, which is about a two minute walk from the house. The descent to the lake is steap and not suitable for people with limited mobility. The lakeside is pristine but steep (about 10 ft. off the dock). This space is not suitable for parties, as this lake is very quiet our neighbours are as respectful as we are. From the house, you may walk around the entire lake. It's a lovely 45 minute walk. Last, it is a lovely home and property, offering countryside and city all in one.
