This is our second exchange with Chris and Debbie. Their hospitality is beyond compare. Their house is a wonderful sanctuary for relaxing but also exploring the island. Our second visit gave us the opportunity to discover many of the interesting nuances of an island on the edge of Desolation Sound. Swimming in Hague Lake and the many sandy beaches were the highlight.

Staying at Chris and Debbie's place's on Cortes Island made our vacation one of the most comfortable and memorable. Chris and Debbie were very thoughtful and hospitable and took extra steps to prepare their home to make us feel welcome. The house is beautiful, well-organized and well-equipped and made our stay incredibly comfortable. The house is located close to beaches, trails, island centre as well as a wonderful lagoon to harvest clams and oysters. Having clams and oysters that we freshly harvested was one of the highlights of our trip. Chris and Debbie were also incredibly thoughtful in leaving our place immaculately clean. We highly recommend Chris and Debbie's wonderful home on Cortes Island!
