Michelle welcomed us into her lovely spacious home then took us on a walking tour to familiarise ourselves with her neighbourhood. Everything was within 5 mins walk and the best pasta shop is literally right next door. The bus stop is also close by as are the supermarkets. Our grandchildren who were with us loved being able to walk to choose their pizza doe dinner. It was a fun and busy time in Rome and the apartment was a peaceful haven to return to after the crowds in the city. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable, we loved our stay.

Michelle Carpente was a superb hostess and her Rome apartment was wonderful for our very first exchange. Michelle met us as we arrived and showed us around her apartment explaining everything and being willing to help us if we needed any assistance during our stay. Everything was wonderful; location, the apartment itself and not least, Michelle's most pleasant nature and personality! We would love to exchange again.
