We are a couple who spend a lot of time in our sea side holiday home in Kilmore Quay whilst our permanent home is in Dublin. We would like to spend some winter/ spring time in Spain, also Paris . Plan is to swap with couples or families who wish to experience Ireland from a beautiful sea side fishing village near to the Rosslare ferry port to Europe and an ideal location to explore Ireland, enjoy the local area and visit Dublin for even a day trip or short stays by road or a train from nearby Rosslare train station.

This is a special property in the heart of a fishing village in the South East of Ireland overlooking a beach, marina and the Saltee Islands, a designated bird sanctuary.We have views from almost all windows of the beach and Marina both within a few minutes walk of our hall door! We have a private gate opening directly to the beach. The house is very private ,has two beach facing patios ,a garden all behind boundary hedging / walls which makes this property a haven for couples/ families. The house is very large with no stairs , spreading out behind a discrete cottage style frontage. We now have decided to consider swapping also and thus we are posting here where we hope to find some opportunities for travel!

Our neighbourhood is vibrant winter or summer where people love to enjoy our beaches, coastal walls, fishing, kayaking,hiking, excellent food and pub life. Visitors love the privacy we have with unhindered views to the beach whilst behind secluded boundary walls; it is an excellent location for people travelling from the Uk or Europe mainland with the Rosslare Eurosport ferry just a half hour away from our village. From Kilmore Quay visits can explore the riches of the local area, a vibrant market town of Wexford with its own Theatre/ Opera House, an array of food emporiums , Johnstown park/ museum with their very own peacocks on the walkways! The house is also excellent for travel to Waterford/Cork making the journey very accessible using the 15 minute Ballyhack ferry! So much more- see our Airbnb listing!

There is a vast array of attractions in or around this location. Enjoy the costal walls, fishing, hiking, kayaking, pub life whilst days trips to nearby locations like Wexford town with it s narrow streets, packed with history and shops, almost every type of restaurant,live music, Johnstown Castle / park with amazing walks/ lakes, JF Kennedy Park, the Raven forest & coastal walk all in one! Also our national Opera house is locate sim Wexford town with theatre options throughout the year and of course our world renowned opera festival every October.
