We are a family of five, two adults and three young teens. Some of us like to start the day meditating, doing some stretches or practicing some qi gong. while some enjoy reading in bed, others would kill for breakfast in bed and the one left, just wants a lie-in. But we all enjoy a wholesome breakfast, let it be porridge or pancakes topped up with a kale juice from the garden, sweetened with pineapple. At the weekend, whether it is sunny or not (most likely not!) we are often busy with scouts activities, hikes, kayaking or whatever outdoor activity is planned. During the week we also manage to be busy with school and work, and other activities like choir, soccer, voice toning, piano, or just meeting friends.

Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort
Our home is small but welcoming, bright and warm. Kitchen and living room is an open space so we can enjoy each others company while cooking. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of recipe books to hand. We have a sound system to enjoy music but no TV set so we don't get too distracted from the present moment. A projector and a fold down screen is available for rainy nights. We also have plenty of board games and musical instruments (including a piano), a trampoline and some outdoor equipment. There is a fold out sofa bed in the living room for guests.

We are privileged to live surrounded by woodlands, lakes and rivers, which allows you to go for walks without having to take the car. There is good fishing, swimming and picnicking/BBQ in the area. The road nearby is quiet. At the same time, we are well communicated. Gort is the closest village (5km) and it has several supermarkets and a couple of tasteful cafes and pubs. Live music and traditional music festivals are on the agenda for Gort every summer. Irelands main appeal is its traditional music and its amazing landscapes, and the craic with people of course! The Burren is a stones throw from here and you'll be passing through many charming little villages that are worth a visit. We do recommend a car since public transport doesn't reach most of the sights. We are right between Galway and Limerick, two cities of great cultural interest. Please ask us anything we may have left out!
