We are a mother and two daughters of 27 and 20 years old. My daughters have moved out, but we are still going on holidays together. We love to live in Amsterdam and we think it's one of the most beautiful cities of the world. We love to travel together and explore different countries and cities.

Our apartment is situated in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhoord. The heart of Amsterdam with all its attractions (canals, Rijksmuseum, Van Goghmuseum, city parks) is 15 minutes away on bike or by tram. Our apartment is on the third and fourth floor of the building (the top floors). It's a nice, light and quiet home with a big living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, three bedrooms and toilets on both floors. Please note that our appartment can only be reached by quite steep stairs (this is Amsterdam!). Also please note that parking is expensive in Amsterdam. If you want you can use our (old but well maintained) Opel Astra Wagon. We have a parking permit for our neighbourhood.
We live in a lively neighbourhood with terraces, restaurants, a cinema, a market, a lot of foodshops and a close to a shopping centre. Two city parks around the corner. Close to various kinds of public transport (tram, bus, train) that will take you right to the heart of Amsterdam. We are also close to the highway and a trainstation. It is easy to visit other places from here. For example Utrecht, Leiden, Haarlem, the IJsselmeer and the North Sea beaches.

We live in a lively neighbourhood with terraces, restaurants, a cinema, a market, a lot of foodshops and a close to a shopping centre. Two city parks around the corner. Tram to the city centre stops a 1 minute walk from here. We also live close to a train station. We live nearby a lake (the IJsselmeer) where you can swim, rent a canoo or surfboard or try wakeboarding.

Amsterdam has a beautiful, scenic city centre . The Amsterdam canals are on Unesco's World Heritage List. We have about 50 museums, like the Rijksmuseum with masterpieces of Rembrandt (The Night Watch) and Vermeer (The Milk Maiden) and the Van Gogh museum. Amsterdam is a very bike friendly city. The public transport infra stucture in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam is very good. From our home you can easily explore other Dutch cities like Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Haarlem and Leiden. Scenic villages like Volendam and Zaanse Schans are very close and easy to get to. A day trip to the dunes and beaches of the Northsea belongs to the possibilities. You can also explore the very nearby countryside by bike. Make an unforgettable trip over the IJsselmeer dyke by bike. There is too much too tell! We will gladly advise you about all points of interest when you come here!
