Isabelle and Russell, we had a wonderful week in your beautiful house. The view from your living room and deck is amazing. There is so much to see and do in the vicinity! You made our stay perfect. We had a lot of fun with darling cat Furry and the chickens.

Isabelle and Russell’s super ecological house is full of light and beautiful views on the countryside. It’s very comfortable and surrounded by a lot of plants and flowers. Furry the big kitty is very cuddly. From Yenne you could go by car and see Chambers, Annecy, Aix les bains and Lyon.

Dit was geen huisruil maar huisoppas. We voelden ons zeer welkom in dit prachtige eco huis. De grote ramen en het ruime terras boden een onovertroffen zicht op de Mont du Chat. Vanuit ons bed zagen we aan de grote eik welk weer het die dag was. We vonden het een plezier om voor Furry, de poes en de tuin te zorgen. De ontvangst van Isabelle was hartelijk en het contact tijdens ons verblijf was vlot en aangenaam. Yenne en de Savoie, gastvrij en smakelijk. Isabelle als je ooit nog eens oppas nodig hebt, wij komen graag terug. Een super grote Mercie.

La maison d'Isabelle et Russell est merveilleusement située dans un petit hameau tranquille avec une vue imprenable sur le Mont du Chat depuis la terrasse qui donne sur le jardin. Bien équipée, confortable, très lumineuse avec ses grandes baies vitrées, cette jolie maison en construction bois est fort agréable à vivre. La région alentour est magnifique et ne manque pas d’atouts avec les innombrables randonnées à faire, les lacs où l’on peut se baigner (dont les jolis Lacs de Chevelu à cinq minutes en voiture de la maison), les sites naturels à découvrir… Isabelle et Russell sont des partenaires d’échange qui nous ont aimablement et chaleureusement accueillis chez eux et avec qui il est facile de communiquer. Ils ont laissé notre maison très propre, dans un état irréprochable, grand merci à tous les deux. Nous conservons un excellent souvenir de cet échange réciproque.

We spent a very pleasant evening with our hosts who made us feel perfectly at ease in their home. We have had several exchanges with beautiful views but the permanent presence of the magnificent "Dent du Chat" visible from our exchange home took first prize.

Our exchange in Yenne offered a wide variety of experiences from amazing country beauty to historic city adventures. We found the nearby Aix-les-Bains to be a thriving city with many forms of entertainment and restaurants. Our home in Yenne was comfortable and modern in the quiet of the country. We loved our drives to historic chateaus, medieval towns, and ski resorts.

We have loved our fully ECO experience in this beautiful house that has a superbe view on a mountain!! The house is large, modern and very comfortable, our most luxurious experience of over 20 exchanges! The garden is also large and doesn't seem to end with the meadow behind it. We ate salad and tomatoes from the garden and could sit in the shade on the terrace. Isabelle, thank you for the delicious meal we had together and for letting us take care of your lovely cat, which we miss already! We have really enjoyed the great area with its lakes, mountains and rich culture. Unfortunately, we had too little time to discover everything (even in 3 weeks), so we will have to go back to the region in future...
