Nice cottage in a great location
I spent a nice holiday in Finola's cottage. Location is very peaceful at direct contact with nature and cottage has all you need to feel good. Moreover it is a nice point to start discovering Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way in a less touristy way. A very nice exchange. Thank you, Finola!

We are a couple with three grown up sons. David is an Architect and I am the administration director of the Architectural Practice . One of our sons Mark is also a director. It is a third generation practice.
Our other two sons are John and Greg.
John lives in Northern Ireland with his wife and three children. Greg lives in New York with his wife and one child.
We love to travel and experience new cultures and places but we especially love Europe !
We have been members of Homelink for many years and have had many successful exchanges.

We would like to do simultaneous or non simultaneous exchange with other ski areas in Europe (Winter season) with La Chapelle (or our holiday cottage in the West of Ireland)
Penthouse apartment located in the small town of La Chapelle D'Abondance located in the French Alps close to the Swiss border,with large wraparound balcony facing SW with spectacular views down the valley and across to the ski slopes.
In small 'real' French town with ski slope and connected to 'Portes du Soleil' ski area - free ski bus to the various stations in Winter.
Lifts open in Summer for Mountain Biking and Walking
Car recommended but not essential
2 double/twin bedrooms (one en suite) and mezzanine with two single beds - Sleeps six comfortably
Exchange also possible with our other holiday home in the West of Ireland

Our apartment is a short walk to either the local ski slope Cret Beni or the ski bus to the wider skiing areas.
Restaurants, hotels etc are just a few minutes walk away .
Apartment block has only 11 apartments and is very quiet
