It was a pleasure staying in Gudrun and Marcel’s beautiful country house. The house and garden are wonderful. It is very well located; both tucked away between vineyards and yet close enough to town to easily reach it by bike or on foot. The whole home swapping process was very smooth and uncomplicated. Our hosts ensured that we were very comfortable in their home for our extended stay and we did indeed feel very much at home immediately. They were fantastic hosts and guests and we found our home immaculate when we came back. We could not have had a better "first exchange”. Thank you Gudrun & Marcel for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Gudrun's und Marcel's Hause ist Wohlfühlhause und in einer wundervollen Umgebung. Ich habe mich vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl gefühlt. Beide haben sich während meiner Anwesenheit auch sehr gekümmert, da ich befürchtet habe, dass das Internet für meine Online-Meetings zu schwach ist. Ihre Freunde haben mich bei allen Fragen sehr unterstützt. Die Region ist sehr ursprünglich und ich habe mich gleich in den Ort und die Umgebung verliebt. Die Ausflüge nach Nimes und Montpellier habe ich sehr genossen, ebenso wie die Trödelmärkte auf denen man tolle Dinge entdecken kann. Bei meiner Rückkehr habe ich meine Wohnung bestens gepflegt vorgefunden. Sie sind ein Tauschpaar, dass ich bestens empfehlen kann. Viel Freude beim Tauschen!

Le Moulin Neuf is a fantastic place to stay and Gudrun and Marcel are excellent hosts. We felt very much at home. The house is multi-faceted, with different parts and levels, tastefully decorated and an interesting history. The garden is lush and the ideal place for a little nap in one of the hammocks. The area offers a lot of things to do and explore. We much enjoyed cycling on the Green Bicycle Path “Voie Vert” - our hosts let us use their bicycles - excellent! St. Hippolyte itself is nice to walk around. There is an interesting silk museum. You can go hiking in the Cevennes or make day trips to places like Le Vigan, Arles, Nîmes, Camargue area. All highly recommended. There is a public bus service which we used. (Check the Lio App for connections). Many thanks to Gudrun and Marcel who took us for a most enjoyable excursion to Arles and the Camargue and also threw a smashing garden apéro for us and some French friends. Merci for everything!! We highly recommend this exchange opportunity.
