Our house is located right on the edge of Thisted town. Although our home is surrounded by fields, forest, steam and lake, the house is less than 2 kilometers from supermarket and close to roads that take you around to the many historical sights and fun activities of this ancient kingdom.
Thisted is located a stone's throw from the fjord and national park Thy, with a lot of hiking routes and beautiful nature. It is only 15 km to the sea, where there is one of Denmark's most famous surfing spots, Klitmøller "Cold Hawaii".
Thisted is large enough to offer plenty of cafe, restaurants, shops, cinema, museum and the like.
If you want more, the big city of Aarhus is just 2 hours away by car.
If you are traveling with children, "Jesperhus Blomsterpark" or "Fårup sommerland" are also not far away and definitely worth a visit.
The house is about 180+ square meters and is suitable for a large family.
One bedroom has a king size bed, a single bed + a baby bed (which can be moved), two have single beds and 2 children's beds. We have a living room with a large TV, with lots of streaming services.
The garden is full of experiences for nature lovers and plenty of play areas for children. We have a huge terrace and lots of sun and shade. There is a gas grill.
We have 1 outdoor cat named Elsa, she is very cuddly and good at catching mice. We also have 2 dogs, but they are with friends or at dog pension when we travel. However, if you are allergic to dogs, they are only in the hall area during the day. In addition, we have 8 sheep and a flock of chickens, which will probably lay fresh eggs every day. So if you want to look for them, with water you can do it. Otherwise, we get friends or family to come over and see to the animals
