We spent 2 weeks in Stefanie and Maarten's wonderful house. The house is very spacious, we especially liked the modern extension with the great kitchen and the Grohe drinking water purifier ?. The wide beaches of the North Sea are within easy reach. We visited beautiful Bruges a total of four times (including a guided tour of the city, the Beer experience and Chico Story museums). There were also interesting excursions to Brussels and Ghent as well as to Lille. Excursions to Veurne and Damme are also highly recommended. Because of the weather, we only had a few days at the beach, but so we were able to enjoy your living room ?. Thank you very much for letting us get to know your house, Belgium and your beer tasting. We had a wonderful stay in Brügge. Thank you Stephanie and Maarten for an amazing holiday. To anyone thinking of exchanging with you, we thoroughly recommend your modern, comfortable house with it's beautiful garden. Brügge is a very beautiful city with its medieval houses, its grand churches and palaces and romantic little arcs and bridges. And of course it is plain heaven for a chocolate lover. In addition to visiting Brügge we could enjoy the beautiful cities of Antwerp and Gent, too, and of course the seaside. We loved this house. It is in a small suburb a few min to reach everything you need. Shops, restaurants and green landscape for a little walk or run. The house looks not as big as it is inside. All of us had their own room to sleep in- and we are a family of 5 Persons... It was clean, lovely freshly renovated and really great to spend 2 weeks in. The location is excellent: 7 km to Brugge. An excellent base to take the bike and visit Brugge, Damme, Knogge Heist, Sluis and many more. There where so many things to do we could have easily spent more time... We found a lot of suggestions what to do in our vacation. We loved this exchange and can warmly recommend Stefanie and Maarten and their house !!!
