We had a fabulous stay at Barry and Rachel's in Perth. The location of their home was perfect walking distance to the city and public transport. Thank you Barry and Rachel for a great exchange.

Thank you Barry & Rachel. Your home is in a great at location to explore Perth and have as a base to adventure beyond. We were able to taste the Swan Valley wines, meander through the hills finding quaint restaurants and soak up the beautiful beaches and coastal views. During these times of COVID we felt safe at all times in a well managed state and city.

We appreciated a nearby beautiful park for morning walks, as well as great coffee and French pastry treats. Easy access to public transport to the city.

Barry & Rachel were very considerate guests being very friendly and helpful, but also providing some 'space' for my independent travel arrangements (i was a guest with Barry & Rachel, who provided accommodation at relatively short notice). I was assisted with my arrival & departure, and during my stay, was invited to visit a not so local attraction (The Pinnacles, Nambung National Park) which i would probably have not experienced had they not gone out of their way to enable this. I was given open use of the house to come and go as required including all mod cons as well as joining them for a meal. Use of their car was also no problem, which enabled me to visit an old acquaintance who now live outside Perth, having emigrated from my home town. Communication in connection with the exchange was good (i am not the best organizer, so this was helpful). The best compliment i can give is that i felt very at home from my first day to last. During Barry & Rachel's stay in my home, all was clean & fine after their departure. Have no hesitation in recommending them for any prospective home exchanger wishing to visit Australia, and Perth in particular (their house is also ideally located for walking in to the city centre).
