Our exchange with Barbara and John exceeded all our expectations. Communication was prompt and friendly and flexible despite both parties being busy on or planning other trips. The home itself is lovely. Located a short hop skip and a jump from a beautiful beach yet a real home rather than a beach house. Great garden too. The house is so equipped with everything one needs from a coffee maker to electric bikes. The area was both fascinating geographically and historically. Remote yet a short trip into Albany. We had a fabulous exchange in Darlington with John and Barbara. As nature lovers their home is perfectly located to explore the hills, forest and vineyards nearby. We even got visited by the cutest possum on the planet, who came to check we were okay. Our home was perfectly looked after by John and Barbara. In short: a great exchange!

Thanks Barbara and John for the use of your home, it was great. You both are cordial and hospitable people who put your home available on a, for us, precarious moment. Your house is very comfortable and has everything we needed. Especially we enjoyed the quiet and shady garden with the variety of birds and of course the tube where we could cool down when the temperature was high. An oasis of peace near the interesting city Perth. Particular the open-air transport to Perth and the surrounding area we liked, very convenient. We had a fantastic time as there were so many places to see within easy driving distance.

Es war einfach wunderbar in eurem hellen Haus mit dem spannenden Garten inmitten den Hills von Perth zu wohnen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Der Empfang, den ihr uns bereitet habt, übertraf alles, was wir uns vorher gedacht hatten. Es war so wertvoll euch kennen zu lernen und wir freuen uns, mit euch im Kontakt zu bleiben. Von eurem Haus aus konnten wir viele Spaziergänge geniessen und spannende Ausflüge unternehmen.
