Grayam and I are both retired. We are both keen open water swimmers, enjoy bush walks, and anything related to the natural environment. We enjoy the mild mediterranean climate of Perth and live in a modern, 2 storey, urban townhouse within easy walking or transport links to parks, the city or to the beautiful Perth beaches. Treat yourself to a glass of wine watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean. We also have many restaurants and cafes within an easy stroll. Our adult son lives in downtownToronto and we hope to have regular visits to his adopted home. We have travelled extensively (Japan, Sth America, USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Spain, France and Germany) and plan to travel a great deal more during our retirement. We love the excitement of new cities, the interest of different cultures, and long walks in scenic unfamiliar places.

Our home is a near new, modern, townhouse with easy care maintenance in an interesting neighbourhood. It has 3 spacious double bedrooms, the master with ensuite and walk-in robe, a large second bathroom with bath, well equipped laundry, a private rear courtyard with outdoor furniture and bbq, and a shady front courtyard where you can meet the neighbours as they head to the dog park across the road. It has quiet central airconditioning, two living areas and is comfortably furnished.

Situated in the leafy, inner-city suburb of West Leederville, 3.5km from the CBD, opposite Cowden Park, 400m from beautiful Lake Monger, 12 minutes drive (or take the bus) to the stunning City Beach, walk into Leederville’s busy Oxford Street café/entertainment strip, and just 6 minutes walk to two separate commuter train lines, the house is exceptionally located, close to all amenities and travel routes. Perth enjoys a wonderful Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers cooled by a sea breeze.

From our house it is a short walk to trendy cafes and shops. Lake Monger is at the end of our street. We are a short walk to the free bus into the city and West Perth with easy access to Kings Park. The beautiful beaches of City Beach and Scarborough are just a short drive, or 30 min bus. This is a very convenient location for all of Perth's attractions. Perth enjoys a Mediterranean climate, mild winters and warm summers, and therefore offers many outdoor activities.. It also provides a good base for those who want to explore the wine regions of the south west or, for the more adventurous, the spectacular gorge country of the north west.
