We have a 1950s house in a quiet street 15 minutes walk from Coogee Beach, the tranquil surroundings are home to a variety of native birds such as kookaburras, cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets. The house has two living areas and a sunny and private back yard. We have retained many original 1950s features of the house, we love the retro style but we have a modern stove, fridge and dishwasher. 10 minutes drive to iconic Bondi Beach, 20 minutes drive or bus to the city of Sydney. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk away. It's a perfect base for exploring Sydney, or having a lazy day at the beach.
The house has a separate kitchen, bathroom, separate laundry, and the living room, with a smart TV and netlix access; we have a fast internet connection. The main bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bunk, the small third bedroom has a single bed. Another living room/music room has a double sofa bed, it also has a dining table that seats 8. We have a sunny back garden with barbQ.
Our local area offers natural beauty and cultural opportunities. From our place you can walk along the cliffs of Sydney’s coastline, or catch a bus and be in the city in 20 minutes. As a recent homelink guest said, Très belle maison australienne avec jardin qui nous a permis de vivre comme les locaux. La plage , les promenades , les cafés et les magasins sont à deux pas.

One of the most spectacular walks and coastlines you could hope to see, this route takes in some of Sydney’s most iconic beaches.
We can do non-simutaneous swaps. We want to go to Europe in October but understand you may want to come to Australia in our summer.

Coogee Beach is a beautiful beach with calm surf and is family-friendly. The promenade area has restored historic buildings and shady parklands. Quality restaurants jostle with fish and chip shops and cafes. Coogee is the ideal spot to end the coastal walk from Bondi along a clearly marked pathway with stunning ocean views. The walk starts at Bondi Icebergs pool, and passes through Aboriginal rock carvings in Marks Park, then on to Tamarama Bronte and Clovelly beaches before finishing at Coogee's shaded parklands. have a swim at the beach to cool off or go to Wylie's Baths.
If you are interested in a trip to Australia I hope you will consider us for a home exchange. We enjoy living in Sydney, and particularly near the beach with dramatic sandstone cliffs, whale watching opportunities and sublime swimming spots.
Our local area offers many outdoor activities- hiking, surfing, diving and snorkelling and paddle boarding in the tranquil waters around Coogee and protected Gordon’s Bay.
From our home you can walk along the cliffs of Sydney’s coastline, or catch a bus and be in the city in 20 minutes. Randwick is located 6 kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district.

It's a 10 minute walk to Coogee Beach. The bus stop is 3 minutes away. A 20-30 minute bus ride takes you to the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge, many art galleries and museums, and the city precinct. Locally Randwick has plenty of interesting ethnic eateries that reflect the diverse culture of the suburb and its neighbours. Our local area offers natural beauty and cultural opportunities. From our place you can walk along the cliffs of Sydney’s coastline, or catch a bus and be in the city in 20 minutes.
Swimming, kayaking, walks on Coogee beach are all on the doorstep, on a lovely seafront with cafés, restaurants and parks. it is a 10 minute walk to The Ritz Cinema- an art deco cinema built in 1937, showing major and art house films.
