From our home Howrah, on the eastern shore of the capital city Hobart, Tasmania it is a short walk to a cosy coffee shop/delicatessan, post office, chemist and hairdresser. There is a foreshore walking track with views across the river Derwent to Hobart city. There are 2 beaches nearby, Howrah and Bellerive. The Bellerive Oval where international cricket games are played. We have fabulous views across the river Derwent to Hobart City. Hobart is a small city with a lot to offer, Mount Wellington has several walking tracks which are spectacular to visit. There is Bruny Island about a 50 minute drive by car then vehicular ferry, a lot to see and do on the island. Refer discover Tasmania link
