We are a semi retired couple with a love for exploring other parts of the world. We have lived in the UK for periods of time and are keen to spend more time there again now that we have some freedom! We are active and love to walk, go to the gym, cycle and reward ourselves with good food and wine. We would look after your home as though it were our own.

The apartment is part of a small complex and it has a spacious balcony and a large lounge /kitchen/dining area, two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, two bathrooms and a separate laundry. Even though we are located in the city, the apartment is quiet with added security screen doors. The apartment is very comfortable and provides relaxed living with spectacular views of the river and city both at night and during the day. It has hi speed Wi Fi, Bose sound system and a smart TV. You can dine inside or outside, depending on the weather.

Our apartment is located right on the river in the city of Brisbane with magnificent views of the iconic Story Bridge and the cityscape. We are surrounded by recreational, cultural and arts facilities, entertainment, dining and shopping opportunities. Everything is a 5 - 20 minute walk away and it is all on our doorstep with endless opportunities to explore Brisbane and all it has to offer. You don`t need a car but if you want to go further afield, transport is easy or we have bikes you can borrow. The Brisbane river runs for many miles and most of the way there is a boardwalk or nearby paths to walk/run/cycle along as you enjoy the river and myriad of cafes and restaurants along the way. The boardwalk access is right at the front of the apartment.

To the left of the apartment is the new, exciting `Howard Smith Wharves` development with cafes, restaurants, a boutique brewery/bistro and an over-water bar. This area is literally a 1 minute walk away and so wining and dining out is an easy option. (https://howardsmithwharves.com)
The South Bank area of Brisbane is an entertainment and dining precinct which is very popular. It has local markets, the Brisbane Gallery of Modern Art, the Brisbane Museum and Library and also accommodates the city's premier entertainment theatres. You can walk to South Bank in 30 minutes or take the nearby ferry.
Not far is the James Street precinct which also has a range of specialty shops, cafes, restaurants, fruit and veg, seafood and meat and a movie theatre. This is a 12 minute walk to the north of us.
You are literally spoilt for choice - anything you fancy is at your fingertips.
