We had a fantastic holiday in Vienna. Birgit, and her family, are 5-star hosts. Birgit gave us excellent instructions on the local transport facilities which made our holiday so enjoyable. Her apartment is ideally located and so clean and tidy. Brigit also left us lovely local food on arrival. She could not have done more for us. In Vienna, we visited the Mozart, Natural History and Susi Museums. We explored Belvedere and Schonbrunn Palaces and gardens and marveled at St Stephen's Cathederal. We lorded it up in the Hofburg district and ran a little wild at the Prater funfair. As for dining out: we had wonderful meals at the Griechenbesil (the oldest restaurant in Vienna, est 1447) and enjoyed all the coffeehouse experiences Vienna has to offer in the Cafe Sperl, Cafe Mozart, Cafe Schwazenberg and Cafe Diglas. In summary, this was an exceptional swop, thanks to Birgit and her lovely family.

We had a wonderful time at Birgit's home. There are great views from the appartment and there shops and restaurants nearby. There's great public transport to the city centre and for trips to the vineyards and forests on the edge of the city.

Einen ganz herzlichen Dank gilt unseren Wiener Tauschpartnern, mit viel Sonne und auch sonst gutem Wetter im Gepäck konnten wir eine schöne und abwechslungsreiche Woche in Wien verbringen. Die Wohnung liegt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut angebunden sehr zentral in Wien. Das helle Dachgeschoss mit der schönen Aussicht hat uns sehr gefallen. Der Spielplatz auf dem Allerheiligenplatz war gut und wichtig für unseren Kleinsten. Schade das wir immer nur einmal in die gleiche Stadt fahren, ansonsten würden wir sagen immer wieder gerne!!!!!
