Enjoy beautiful Bavaria, close to Munich, castles (Neuschwanstein Cinderella castle and some other),
not far from Austria, Switzerland, Italy. We live in the little village Kaufering (975 yrs old) at the river Lech and the "romantic road".

The bus to the train station leaves right next to our house.

Our village: Public in and outdoor pool with a big slide, outdoor tennis courts. Kayak rental, Bavarian restaurant with beergarden and playground just a 5 minute walk. Rowing club, little soccer and skateboard pitch in walking distance. We got a brand-new climbing and boulder hall 3 minutes drive. In the next village there is a golf course at a little castle.
The possibilities for walking, running, hiking, bike riding, horseback riding are terrific. We have many bikes: 3 city bikes, 3 moutainbikes, 1 e bike, an oldtimer (1937) and table tennis table in our garden. A Bavarian butcher, where you can buy typical sausages, meat, rolls and pretzels is in walking distances. Supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, banks and a movie theater are within a 3 minutes ride.

Our house is a row house (corner) with very nice and quiet neighbours, upper deck and a nice little backgarden, where you can barbecue. The interior is modern mixed with few antiques & piano, guitar. Our kitchen has a Swiss espresso & latte machine, dishwasher, sorry no microwave, if you need one we will buy one. There are 3 bedrooms and a playroom with extra TV & DVD player, if you need more bedrooms, we will change this one into a bedroom (comfortable sleeping sofa, so you would have sleeping possiblities for 8 persons altogether).
We are a family of 4 (actually 5, there is also Murphy, our cat). We would travel with our 17 years old son Marc. Our daughter Isabella doesn't live at home anymore. Our neighbours would also feed the cat, if you wanted to travel. We have lots of American, English toys, books and DVDs
