We loved our time in the Jones home! The space and layout were incredible for a family offering lots of privacy and their home was so beautifully decorated. Public transit was 3 minutes walk away with tons of close amenities (bakeries, grocer, etc) and was very safe at all times of the day/night. We loved our time visiting castles, poking in and out of the beautiful shops, trying haggis and the morning roll, chatting with friendly locals, taking a bus tour of the Highlands, hiking Arthur’s seat and the Pentlands, mountain biking in Glentress and taking some day trips to Glasgow and beyond. The warm welcome and home are so beautiful! Loved every minute of our trip!

Chris and Derek's property is superbly situated for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The local bus service into the city was fantastic and only a 2 minute walk from the house. The stunning view from the sitting room made our evenings very relaxing and was just what we wanted after a busy day of sightseeing. The whole house was very well equipped and lived up to and beyond our expectations. An ideal swap.

W are grateful to the Jones family for giving us the chance to stay in their beautiful and confortable house, which is in a peaceful and residential neighbourhood. All the shops you need are very close and you can get to the city centre by bus in a few minutes, sometimes we even walked back home. Besides, they were perfect guests, kind and helpful.

We were surprised to agree an exchange at Edinburgh Festival time, after previous years' fruitless search, and were so happy with your delightful, quiet flat, just a bus ride from where it was all happening, and a lovely refuge after 4 or 5 shows a day. We also did not know about this online Guest Book until you signed ours, thanks.
