As our home is situated in the heart of Denmark, within 3 hours you are able to visit every part of our beautiful country.
In the east on Sealand, our capital Copenhagen, at the "top" of Denmark, the charming Skagen, to the west the vast beaches of Jutland and to the south fx. the historic Ribe and of course Sønderborg on the island Als as well as Germany, only 30 mn.
Our region offers a beautiful hilly nature and various charming cities and many family friendly but also historic tourist attractions.
Discover Aros or Moesgaard Museum within 1 hour in the capital of Jutland, Århus, nominated culture capital of Europe 2017 or Christiansfeld, a little Unesco World heritage city nearby..
We live in the countryside and yet only 5 min. to beach and the sea, to forest and lake and again only 20 min. from larger cities like Kolding and Haderslev. Driving 5 km, you are at Hejlsminde's charming beach with café and restaurant and windsurfing. Sandersvig beach 4 km from our house has a small indoor pool for children.
In only 20 min. you have white sandbeaches at Flovt and Kelstrup Strand and bigger cities Kolding and Haderslev with a variety of cultural activities.
Ribe offers the famous Viking museum, the dome and is the oldest king residens of Denmark.
Haderslev Kommune offers vintage train ride, Gram claypit, Vojens indoor pool and Vojens skating rink, Vojens Go Cart racing, Haderslev Street Dome for young skaters, sailing trips with Helene.
Kolding, 20 min. away, is worth a visit with Koldinghus Castle and Kolding Artmuseum, Trapholt, as well as the wellness and indoor swimmingpool, Kolding Slotssøbad and Dorotheas Bad.
