Larry and I have lived in Coffs over 20 years now and love it. We travelled extensively before having a family and have done quite a bit since then too, living in a few different countries as well. . We love travelling and now that its just us, house swapping seems a great idea. We are both in our mid 60's and will retire completely at the end of this year. Larry has been in business and is a carpenter and Yvonne is a registered nurse working part time in an operating theatre. We look forward to our first experience at this opportunity. We were both born in NZ but have not lived there for over 40 years but we just love to get back there on a regular basis.

Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort
Our home is on a beautiful peaceful setting. Situated right on a pretty lagoon yet only four minutes walk to our lovely local Hills beach. Hear the sounds of the waves 24/7. Enjoy the plentiful bird life from our large comfortable deck. In fact a lot of them will visit you closely on the balcony. We almost live out on this deck. The climate here allows that as this area is considered the most temperate area in the whole country.
Our home is large and mostly open living, with three bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. Downstairs is a complete apartment that we operate as a BnB - however this area will be not operational during your stay. Upstairs the third bedroom is a gym. The master bedroom is large with ensuite, walk in robe, small balcony and views out to the lagoon. The second bedroom also has a queen bed with plenty of storage and a bathroom next door.
The large kitchen and dining is modern and looks out over the lagoon. BBQ available on the deck.
The lounge is comfortable with A/C for summer and a fireplace for the winter. Netflix connected. A double lock up garage.
Coffs has a very busy regional airport 15 minutes from here which has several flights to Sydney daily and a few direct to Melbourne weekly.
There are many golf courses - one being in the top 20 international courses in Australia. Get some diving lessons and go off to one of the islands for an experience. Jump out of a plane for a bit of adrenaline. Camel rides up the beach in summer. Fishing charters. Whale watching during the season. Olympic swimming pool. Safe beaches with surf life savers. etc etc

Our neighbourhood is a small suburb which is leafy, quiet and everyone is close to the beach. Our neighbours are lovely and we all look out for each other so they will help you out if needed and take care of the place if you choose to go off touring for a few days.
There are so many lovely uncrowded beaches here with too many walks to mention. In the town there are botanical gardens, the Creek walk, many cafes and restaurants, great coffee is abundant.
Just out of town are many things to visit. A day trip to the lovely village of Bellingen on your way to Dorrigo to include the National Park area.
Sawtell is another lovely village, long beaches and great food - only 15 minutes away. Sawtell also has a unique movie theatre.

We are very happy to share our home with like minded people who will look after it like it is theirs - as we will do in your home. Our car is available but we would appreciate it if you didn't travel more than four hours away. That will get you to a lot of places anyway. We usually have season vegetables growing which we hope you will enjoy but it means they will require some watering as well as some balcony and indoor plants. We are very happy to do the same for you. If you wish to go away for a few days our neighbours will happily take over the watering.
