Gus and I are in our 60's and we love to travel and meet people from around the world. We are interested in the everyday lives and cultures of people in other countries. Our first overseas trip was to Canada in 2009, and we have been to Europe in 2011, 2013 and 2017. We have 2 grown up boys and our younger son is presently living in Berlin, Germany studying to be a Master Brewer. Our other son is a farmer/builder. We are semi retired , Gus having farmed wheat, sheep and cattle and I am a retired secondary teacher (Chemistry and Mathematics). We enjoy family history and have been to both Germany and Cornwall/Cambridge in England to trace our family roots. Gus has a love of horses , he rides and trains them as well as making western saddles for a hobby. I enjoy gardening, golf and have a passion for Calligraphy which I have been learning for 9 years.
We have also travelled extensively around Australia and feel we have a good knowledge of this country in case you are after some further ideas for travelling whilst you visit "Down Under".

Vad vi gillar, vad vi inte gillar ... Här är våra preferenser och husregler.
It is important for us to find our house neat and tidy when we get back. The seaside weather allows for a lot of outdoor living and BBQ's so please ensure that the patio area is also left this way. We are keen to start our swaps with people from Western Australia and New Zealand .
