The exchange home was very comfortable and suited us well. The area is just great. Cycling straight from property along the dedicated cycle path in both directions along the coast. Very lovely. We also travelled by car and went on 7 different Heritage Steam Railway journeys. Highly recommended home and area.
"Lovely Little Bungalow on a Pristine Estate" This was a return to North Wales for us after 20 years and its beauty never ceases to amaze. Gary & Kayes' bungalow was centrally situated for all the lovely North Wales Resorts and great shopping at Tweedmill and Chester all with easy access on the A55. The bungalow itself was very comfortable and so easy to feel at home in, we used the conservatory with its lovely views of the garden and the wooded hillside for our evening meals and it really felt special. Anne Gary & Kaye's housekeeper was so interesting and such a lovely person as well as a great housekeeper we reckoned she was turbo powered!!! So all in all this is a real little gem. We had a lovely peaceful holiday with plenty to see and do.
We spent a delightful two weeks in Kaye and Gary's lovely home. It gave us a chance to spend time with my parents, who live nearby, and visit our favourite places with them: including Llandudno, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy etc.; and a lovely shopping spree at The Tweemill at St. Asaph. (Had we not had my parents to entertain, we would most certainly have travelled further afield and taken advantage of the lovely walks this area affords.) It was very pleasant indeed to return in the evening to watch the sun setting over the forested hill as we relaxed in their conservatory, looking out over their magical back garden. Gary and Kaye left a comprehensive collection of information on the area and some useful info. on walks and the welcome bottle of wine was much appreciated (we have a very individual diet, so requested no food be left). A very successful exchange. Thank you Kaye and Gary!
