Renovated stone house in picturesque village (Ierland - County Clare - Quin)

Ons gastenboek

  • Lovely cottage in small village

Our group of 4 adults enjoyed staying in Irene's lovely, modern cottage. She has recently remodeled it to a very high standard. Quin is a small village with centered around the ruins of a stunning abbey. We had a warm welcome at the local pubs and restaurant. We drove to the market town of Ennis about 15 minutes away our groceries and more pubs and restaurants. Communication with Irene was excellent before, during and after the exchange.

  • we had a fantastic time in her beautiful home

Our welcome was wonderful and we enjoyed visiting her beautiful home. Everything was so comfortable, clean and convenient. we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much!

  • An Utterly Fabulous Unforgettable Holiday!

We had a fabulous time at Irene's beautiful home! We were welcomed with a delicious homemade meal and flowers (so lovely). It was a perfect location to explore the County Clare area, which we did! Her light and large home is literally across the street from the gorgeous Abbey in Quin. Cliffs of Moher and the entire spectacular coast of Ireland is all within 45mins to 1.5 hours. Limerick is only 20 mins where we enjoyed a fabulous Milk Market on Saturdays, the mystical Burren National Park is just an hour away. The entire area is scattered with incredible nearby walks in the lush green countryside and enchanted forests. She and her sister, Ann were a total delight, as we exchanged pix and questions throughout our visit. The car was also wonderful to have with the built in GPS that easily took us everywhere. We not only fell in love with Ireland, but we made new friends in Irene and Ann. We hope to do it ALL again!
