• Beautiful oasis in a urban area!

  This was a wonderful home exchange for us! Paul and Sylvianne were very helpful and left a plethora of books, maps, materials , suggestions on visiting Paris and the surrounding areas including a lengthy list of good restaurants in different areas of Paris. The apartment was in a great location, a 5 minute walk to the #1 metro line that gets you quickly to many famous sites in the city . The apartment was like an oasis in the La Defense urban area. It was very quiet, beautifully decorated , very stylish and well-stocked with any imaginable necessity .There was even a big terrace shaded with lovely shrubs and trees for outside dining. We took advantage of it every morning! The hosts were very generous in leaving us some wonderful French delicacies and amazing baked goods from Sylvianne. We felt very spoiled! And , bien sur , Paris was also stunningly beautiful. What a great city!
