Modern Art Deco, walk to town. (Nieuw-Zeeland - Nelson - Nelson)

Ons gastenboek

  • Nelson, a superb destination.

Our exchange to Anne and Stephen’s comfortable spacious home was absolutely top notch. Their home is well situated being conveniently close to central Nelson. We felt very “ at home”. The area is historically very interesting with informative bill boards on several street corners. We enjoyed the two local coffee shops, both within walking distance and in historical well preserved buildings. Nelson offers much throughout the whole district. A highlight for us was being able to pick our own berries for the Christmas feast. We enjoyed the wonderful range of quality fruit and vegetables that abound in this region often buying from the large country outlets in Richmond. Thank you Anne and Stephen for a super exchange. We did so enjoy our time in Nelson. Our best wishes for your future travels and exchanges. Heather & John

  • Lovely Nelson

Having been to (and loved) Nelson 40 years ago, we were interested to see how the town has changed. Nelson today is a vibrant town with fabulous markets, beautiful gardens, art galleries, cafes and restaurants aplenty. Its location to Blenheim and its many vineyards, and Abel Tasman National Park and its walks and scenic coastal cruises sealed it for us. This lovely home and its beautiful gardens did not disappoint. If you are lucky enough to stay here you are assured of a very comfortable time in a lovely part of the world.

  • We were relaxed & very comfortable in this spacious modern home & enjoyed its proximity to central Nelson & the beaches.

  • Lovely home , beautiful view, very comfortable and convenient

  • Top spot in beautiful Nelson

Anne and Stephen's home made the most of the stunning ocean views over Nelson and the bay. The home was well appointed with everything you could want and the range of activities in and around Nelson easily filled our days. We did most of Nelson's 25+ galleries, had afternoon tea in the heritage listed stately home literally at the bottom of their driveway, had a delicious dinner at Hopgood's fine dining also within walking distance, did walks through bushland accessed from their back fence and up to a peak with more breathtaking views, drove their very comfortable car to Golden Bay, Rabbit Island and up to the Abel Tasman National Park to take a water taxi along the outrageously beautiful coastline. In between times we just sat in their sitting room and stared at the view ... never boring and read. Anne and Stephen were clearly experienced hosts; their welcoming touches were everywhere. Thoroughly recommendable.
