  What a wonderful exchange! Gord and Cherie’s house was lovely and comfortable with a terrific kitchen. The covered porch was one of our favourite places to sit, and the beach is just a hop, skip and a jump away. The location was great; such a charming little town. It was a great home base for visiting wineries, and meeting up with friends. We would go here again in a heartbeat!

  Everything about this exchange was wonderful. The location is a hop, step and jump from the lakeside at Peachland where we had many swims. On the way to the beach one passes a great bakery and coffee shop populated by knowing locals. The house was extremely comfortable and we spent a lot of time on the front porch, eating breakfast, sipping coffee or having sundowners while watching the world go by. Due to circumstances beyond their control Gordon and Cherie could not depart on their own planned trip and had to stay at Peachland with us. They did this by living in their RV in their driveway and using the downstairs guest rooms leaving us free rein on the top level. This worked out just great and, in addition, it was wonderful having them around to chat to, to meet up with locals and for ongoing advice about what to see and do. We even shared a few meals and more than one or two wines! Wonderful, charming hosts. This is what homeland is all about.
