  We had great pleasure lodging in your cosy home, evening drinks and suppers on the terrace and sleeping in the extremely comfortable bed. Lurking in Chippenham meant that we were within easy reach of many interesting places – the delightful architecture of Corsham and Castle Coombe (great for upmarket coffee in the Manor House) , Laycock (home of the polymath MP, Henry Fox Talbot), Devizes (where the first UK telephones were invented), to say nothing of the stunning setting in Malborough. We enjoyed some downtime by the river in the “Grounded” bar in Chippenham a number of times. The Holborne Museum in Bath was very educational, with the Canaletto Exhibition and the collection of interesting stock portraits, especially in these times of curiosity about wealth sourcing and philanthropy. • A home away from home

  A perfect exchange, what more could you ask for. Hayley and Leyton are excellent hosts and brilliant exchange partners, happy to keep in touch before and during our swap. Their home home is great with everything you could need. Located in a lovely area and within walking distance to the local town and train station. Lots to see nearby and we spent many days visiting local villages, their hostelries and spending the evening relaxing at "home". Bath is only about 40 mins away by car and spent a nice day there touring on the open top bus. Would happily return for another visit. Thank you Hayley and Leyton

  The Cobb family were a pleasure to exchange with. Easy to arrange, house perfect on arrival and loads to do and see in the area. We returned to our home in perfect condition too so perfect all round.

• Great base to explore the area

  We felt very welcome and comfortable and used the house to explore Lomgleat and Cheddar. Perfect location for both. Great information at the house so we found places to go and eat easily. Very child freindly as well. Lovely home.
