My wife Samantha and I have 3 children(ages 22, 19, and 16) who may or may not travel with us, we are interested in traveling to Europe or other destinations during the months of June, July, and August of 2023. We would also be interested in some shorter exchanges during the rest of the year. Our exchange(second) home on Sanibel Island is available at various times during the year.

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
"Sanibel Oasis" is our canal front home with heated pool all surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation and very close to many of the amenities Sanibel Island has to offer. Home has 3 Bedrooms and 2 full baths. Large screened front and rear decks overlook pool and canal. Sanibel Island is world famous for its beautiful beaches and shelling. Being on the west coast of Florida, Sanibel is also known for beautiful sunsets. We have beach equipment and bicycles so you can cycle the entire island on its miles of paved pathways. Prepare a home cooked meal or dine out at many of the great restaurants on the island. Full service marina on Sanibel offers boat excursions, fishing charters, and boat rentals. Kayak or paddleboard(for rent, delivery and pick up on island) from our dock through mangrove forests and past beautiful, canal front homes. Sanibel is a great place to visit anytime of the
year.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt
Sanibel Island is 35 minutes drive from Fort Myers(RSW) airport. It connects to the mainland by a causeway(series of bridges and islands). The island is 12 miles long and connects by bridge to Captiva Island which is 5 miles long and another great place to explore. Disneyworld is 3.5 hours drive away and Miami 2.5 hours. Naples is about 1 hour drive. We like to just relax on Sanibel and enjoy our home, a drink by the pool, the beach, a bicycle ride, fishing, and dining at some of our favorite restaurants. On a rainy day there is also a really great public library on the island. The Sanibel Recreation Center is also great which has a complete exercise facility with weights, cardio equipment, and large pool with lap swimming and a splash pool for children.
