Ons huis

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

Our home is a very nice comfortable home, single level and well appointed. It is situated on the Hills overlooking the Bay in Nelson so has wonderful views.

The large kitchen has a central bench where you can have breakfast and a dining table near the large window/door overlooking the Bay.There is a Glass door opening out to a large Patio where there is an outdoor Table and chairs (and umbrella for summer).Gas Barbecue available
Has all modern appliances

There are two living areas - separated by sliding doors. These rooms also have lovely views with floor to ceiling windows/doors which open out to the front of the house. Both very comfortable rooms.

A separate office with computer and WiFi etc.

As well as courtyard out from Dining/Kitchen there is a courtyard on a higher level at the back of the house with wooden bench and table and chairs to sit out on. Lovely well laid out gardens.

The house is double-glazed and is heated and cooled by air-conditioning.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving

Our neighbourhood is on a flat area in a high area of Nelson - driving down from Town Centre is approx 7 minutes. Our house is in a Private Way with four other houses. There are other houses down below our Way.
We all have views to the Bay in Nelson, across to the Southern Alps and various mountains. You can see out to the open sea in the distance.
It is a quiet place but people are always happy to say hello.
We are a five minute drive down the hill to the Beach - Tahunanui

Tahunanui Beach is close by - if you enjoy walking/hiking there are lots of great tracks around. There are three of New Zealand's best known National Parks easily accessible from Nelson: Abel Tasman National Park, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Park.
Wonderful Cycling Tracks (Great Taste Cycle Trail) is very popular.
Award winning Wineries and great Restaurants and cafes.
Catching the launch from Nelson Port to Kaiteriteri for the day is a nice trip.
In the summer months there are always Festivals and events held.
