Ons huis

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil

Spacious, quiet, clean, modern house. Very sunny aspect with spectacular mountain and sea views. Access via a private road shared with only 3 other properties. Two bedrooms - one huge master bedroom with super king bed and one smaller bedroom with a queen sized bed . Both beds are firm and very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. Spacious comfortable lounge and dining room. Modern hi tech kitchen opening onto a covered outside entertainment area.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt

From our house it is absolutely necessary for you to have a car. There is the Abel Tasman National park for hiking, sightseeing and water sports which is under an hour by car from our place to Marahau or Kaiteriteri to start exploring this area.
There is the extensive Tasman Great Taste Cycle Trail with several bike hire shops.
WOW car museum.
Many beautiful beaches close by, such as as Tahunanui, Rabbit Island, Mapua, Kaiteriteri and Marahau.
It is approximately 1.5 hours to drive over the hill to the beautiful Golden Bay with its superb golden sand beaches - handy for visiting Farewell Spit.
Richmond township is only 5 mins drive from home and Nelson city is approximately 20-25 mins drive.
Many eateries and wineries in the area - we do not have any favourites as we are still discovering them all.
The Abel Tasman area is famous for many attractions but one of those is the many art galleries that sells everything from art, pottery, knitted garments and nick nacks.
The Saturday Market from 1000 -1300 is very popular, selling a diverse range of products.

Wat we graag willen of wat juist niet...

NO SMOKING and NO ANIMALS!!!!! We are both anti smokers, so no smoking anywhere on the property either inside or out please. We also are not animal lovers, so will not be interested in doing any exchanges with people with animals. Thank you.

For any overseas exchanges we would prefer a minimum of 2 weeks stay.


We are very house proud and will ensure our house is left in a immaculate condition for your use and we will ensure we leave your house in the same condition. Please treat our home as your own and leave it in the same clean and tidy condition as you found it. Thank you.

If you wish to have other friends or family come and stay while you are in our home they are very welcome, however, we do request you let us know beforehand and no more than 4 adults total to stay.

A car may be exchanged in certain circumstances.
