Dear Elke, Wolf, Noemi and Lucy, Thank you for the loan of your beautiful home. We had a wonderful time there - making full use of the splendid Bayern Tickets for use on the Regional railways. Augsburg delighted also, with its historical splendours - The Fuggerei, Town Hall, Cathedral, churches, Lech District and Botanic Gardens. Using the Bayern Tickets, we visited: Nordlingham; Fussen and Nneuschwanstein Castle; Nuremberg; Munich; Diesessen and Hersching on Lake Ammersee; Lake Starnberg; Ulm; Salzburg; Garmisch-Partenkirchen; to the top of Zugspitze (amazing!); Landsberg en Lech. Your whole transport system is fantastic! Trams, buses and trains - all very enviable! Your home proved a welcoming, elegant and comfortable base to return to each evening and the nearby bakers a great source of lovely bread and cakes! Huge thanks for the useful information you left, the food and delicious wine. The most wonderful time was had in your beautiful area of Germany and we vow to return ASAP!
