We have enjoyed 18 wonderful Homelink exchanges: Australia, New Zealand, Europe,(Paris, Rome) Great Britain (Bath,Cornwall) United States,(Boston, Honolulu, Kauai, Northern California, Mexico, Grand Cayman Island, and many more. Our decision to retire in downtown Vancouver was to have closer access to what we love to do: cycle, walk, hike, enjoy the mountains and the ocean and most of all, Stanley Park. Our adult kids and grandkids love it here too..

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
1000 square foot Townhouse in highrise complex with outside patio. Concierge and Security in building. Coveted Yaletown location just steps away from seawall, restaurants & shopping. Seawall extends to and beyond Stanley Park in one direction and to Science World and Granville Island in the other. Downtown is approx. a 20 minute walk. Experienced exchangers (18). Our townhouse is one level, with a bedroom, den and two bathrooms. We have 2 wallbeds: both queen size. The den is small with two comfortable Lazyboy chairs for tv viewing.
Many exchangers like to combine a trip to Vancouver with a cruise to ALASKA. Several cruise lines go out of Vancouver from May to September.

Beschrijving van onze buurt en omgeving
Our neighbourhood has Urban Fare, Roundhouse Community Center, Seawall, Marina, Banks Restaurants, Starbucks, clothing stores, hair salons, spas,, etc. Aquabus, (a small ferry that tours False Creek, Parks, bicycle rentals (although we have 2). We love it here!

Urban Fare - groceries, market type food, Science World, Provence (high end restaurant). Hurricane Grill (moderate), Aquabus Ferry, Granville Island, seawall walks to popular beaches , uptown to Granville Street, Library, Art Gallery, Fireworks in summer, STANLEY PARK, 3 bridges to walk over, Cambie Bridge for more shopping! So many places: Lived here 16 years and still exploring.
