Our home is located near to where the tall cedars come to an abrupt end at the edge of the huge fluid freedom. Deer and other wildlife freely traverse our property, eagles raise their young in nests nearby. Our community is small and sits between two towns; to the South is Gibsons, the location noted for the 1970's TV show called The Beach Combers. We live on the unceded territory of the Shishalh people and twenty minutes to the North of us in Sechelt is their own noteworthy museum and longhouse. If the city life beckons we are a beautiful 40 minute ferry ride passing through islands and fiords to West Vancouver. If not, just stay put, relax and enjoy the natural delights of the Sunshine Coast; mountain biking, golfing, hiking, fishing, boating, and winter sports such as cross country skiing and snowshoeing. We are also a mecca for artists and host an annual Art Crawl in October featuring 130 venues stretched from one end of the Coast to the other. We are a leisurely 30 minute walk to downtown Roberts Creek which boasts a restaurant, shops, a post office and a quaint cafe serving locally roasted coffee and other home made delights.
