Our comfortable, 3 bedroom home is in the upper Blue Mountains and borders the World Heritage listed national park, (the location of the famous 3 sisters rock formation). There are many walking tracks within a 10 minute drive from us and lots of lookouts and spectacular views that you can drive to. We live less than 2 hours easy train or car ride from Sydney. There are many other natural attractions that are within an easy days drive of our home. It is only 2 hours from inland tourist destinations such as the Mudgee wine region and the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo. The ancient limestone caves at Jenolan Caves are less than 1.5 hours drive.

The house itself is on one level with carpeted floors throughout. It has both a gas fire heater and electric heating/air conditioning in the living areas. All beds are fitted with electric blankets. We live on a quiet street but with neighbours either side. The back yard private and there is a pleasant shaded barbeque area. Wentworth Falls Lake is a five minute walk and the village is about 10 minutes away. In the village there is a supermarket, cafes, hotel and a few interesting shops. The local bus will take you to the next village where you can access the tourist bus to visit all the sights including the famous three sisters.
While not essential, having a car would give you additional travel options to explore further afield. There is also a tourist bus which visits the main sights in the upper Blue Mountains.
There are many picturesque bush walks within a 20 Km radius, as well as abseiling and rock climbing for the more adventurous. Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens is a 45 minute drive and worth the trip.
The Blue Mountains is known as the "City of the Arts" with many galleries displaying the works of local and national artisans.

My partner Jeff, and I are both in our late sixties and love to travel now that we are semi retired. I was an CEO of the Blue Mountains Business Chamber and Jeff is a retired Electrical Engineer who owned an electrical importing business for 30 years. We have been together for 4½ years and have drawn up a ‘bucket list’ which includes travel to many parts of the world. We are open to offers from all parts of the world.
We both have 2 children, I have 6 grandchildren and Jeff has 3 grandchildren.
