I am a Fitness professional, who only works part time now, my husband is a retired Police Detective who is now a part time handy man.
We don't smoke and are both into our fitness, we love travel with a passion, hence our homelink connection.
We are learning French which is a life long lesson we both believe " c'est dificile".
We have a large family and between our family, travel and our fitness there is not much time left over. We do enjoy meeting and getting to know people from everywhere, and have many friends all over the world.
2020 and now 2021 have stopped our overseas and even our travel inside Australia to a large extend.
We have missed our French home and friends and now we have had our Covid vaccinations we are ready for the world to open up again!
We look forward to meeting new people, renewing friendships and discovering more of the world again, bring on the next stage .

Beschrijving van het huis dat wij aanbieden voor ruil
OUR CITY OF NEWCASTLE HAS BEEN NAMED NO. 9 IN THE BEST CITY,S OF THE WORLD TO VISIT. WE KNOW WHY, WHY NOT COME AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES.....
We live in a beautiful beachside location within walking distance to 3 patrolled surfing beaches, many cafes and restaurants, art gallerys, sporting activities, golf and much more.
It takes 2 hrs to drive to Sydney, so is suitable as a day trip and 40 mins to the wonderful Hunter valley wine region, and 40 mins to the lakes and waterways of Port Stephens.
Our home is a brand new very modern 3 bedroom, 2 big bathrooms open plan living delight, with lovely, timber outdoor entertainment area, plasma TV,s built in surround sound system, broadband wireless through out the house, and fully airconditioned.
Our neighbours are extremely friendly and welcoming.
We are experienced swappers having swapped twice before, in France and then in Canada. Our previous swappers where extremely happy in our home and quote
"What a fabulous place- we love Newcastle, the beach and the neighbourhood - and what a great bunch of neighbours. We have thoroughly enjoyed your home, your neighbours and your region."
We leave our car for your transportation needs.
We will also consider any one interested in swapping, as we love travel and will be retiring soon, so will be more flexible with our time. We will consider all styles of accommodation and will reply to all who enquire.
We now also have a home in Montagnac France, which has 2 bedrooms with Double beds with ensuite bathrooms.
A small new complete kitchen fully equipped,
2 TV,s a DVD player. Some English movies, and books
plus Wi Fi.
Our french village has all amenities , but is also only 10 mins to the med. 3 hrs to Barcelona and 3 hrs to Nice.
1 hr to the ski fields.
We also rent out our French home for a small rental to homeswappers, if we do not want to make a swap.

We are in close proximity to our neighbours being an inner city location, but neighbours are all helpful and kind. We have 3 beaches within strolling distance of our home, along with many cafe,s and restaurants. So you can leave the car at home and walk to most attractions.
We are also near to many shops, art galleries and markets that regularly have great shopping opportunities. We are a beachside location and find neighbours and locals are all very chatty and friendly.
There are beautiful parks close by for picnics, vineyards and waterways a short drive away.
Art galleries , library,s shops and picture theatres all near by.
Sydney is a day trip away.

Our house is a short stroll to a line of 3 surfing, swimming patrolled beaches, which are magnificent.... along with cafe,s and restaurants, all just a WALK away!
Shops for grocery shopping , pharmacies, doctors, dentists, and markets are all a walk away.
