Our neighbourhood is very friendly and quite. we are on the crest of a hill with extensive views of the Cairns city, surrounding mountains and the Coral Sea.

Onze tips voor leuke activiteiten en uitjes bij ons in de buurt

Cairns is an international tourist destination. The Great Barrier Reef is easily accessed here. There are some beautiful islands within easy reach such as Green Island and Fitzroy Island. Port Douglas and the Atherton Tablelands are within a short driving distance.The Daintree National Park is a few hours away. The international airport enable short flight times to other interesting destinations such as Bali, Singapore, New Zealand and of course, all major cities in australia. A wide variety of tourist trips are available: Reef trips with snorkeling or scuba diving, adventure activities such as canyoning, abseiling, mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking and camping trips up into the wilderness of The Daintree or Cape York Peninsula. A number of cruises also dock in Cairns so that there is opportunities to also visit Papua New Guinea.
There are many more day trips of interest than just those listed below. Visit the northern Beaches of Trinity Beach or Palm Cove. There is Cable Skiing at Smithfield and Sugarworld Water Slide Park at Edmonton. There are beautiful freshwater rivers to drive to for picnics and bush experiences. There are wildlife parks to see our unusual native animals.
